Our family is a family of 4, father Jan-Willem, mother Marie-Anne, Guus (boy) of 6 and Fleur (girl) of almost (September) 4. Nice and happy kids with a high energy level :-), who are fun to be with. Our family includes 2 dogs (labradors) named Vicky and Pippa. We live in Loosdrecht, close to Hilversum (between Utrecht and Amsterdam). Loosdrecht is known for its beautiful lakes, the Loosdrechtse Plassen. There is also beautiful nature (forest and moor) near Loosdrecht to explore. Jan-Willem is running his own company in Hilversum and Marie-Anne is working as a finance manager. In our spare time we like to travel, hike, cook, do some sports (yoga, SUP, biking etc) and gardening. We have a beautiful garden and swimming pool.

What are you looking for and expecting from an au pair? What will you expect from the au pair?

We are looking for an Au Pair who is honest and open and is willing to build a bond with our children. Listening, be consistent, keep your promises, make time and be interested in the children and what they do.

What fun things can the au pair do around town, and what can your family offer to the au pairs during the au pair experience?

We live in a beautiful area close to Utrecht and Amsterdam (easily accesible by public transport). You can do a lot of nature and sports activities in the area, like SUP (and other water sports), hiking, biking, horse back riding etc. We have a beautiful garden and swimming pool. We have a tiny house in the garden where you can stay in your spare time (if you like) or invite friends (if it is not occupied, during summer time we sometimes have friends and family coming over).
