I am a single mother for 2 kids, Layaan (almost 7 years) and Zain (almost 5 years). They are really cute, kind, quite kids. super fun to be with.
What are you looking for and expecting from an au pair? What will you expect from the au pair?
I like an au pair who is kind to the kids and wiling to tolerate normal kids activities. We like to have an au pair who is tidy and always keeps thing tidy. The main responsibilities expected from you is taking care of the kids. mainly preparing lunch boxes, taking the kids to school (by bike or bus), bringing the kids from school and taking care of them & feeding them till i come back from work. Also from time to time take them to the park near buy or host some of their school collogues after school. Helping with some household activities (cleaning, washing, making the house tidy..etc) from time to time is also needed.
What fun things can the au pair do around town, and what can your family offer to the au pairs during the au pair experience?
We are living at the beach, most touristic place in the Hague. you can always go for a walk, at summer you can go swimming if you like. Also there is a lot of nice parks in the neighborhood. We are living near by the city center (it takes around 20 min by tram or 30 min by bike)
