Our family is a family of 3 kids. Jack is very sporty and loves to play football and in the street with his friends. Furthermore he likes to play Mario on his nintendo, not to much :-). Ava loves ballet and drawing. She has a lot of energy and smiles a lot. Lexi (Alexis) is the youngest and in love with Miffy. She really likes animals, especially the cats in our garden and love reading a book together. You can describe our family as 'enthusiastic, adventurous and spontaneously.
What are you looking for and expecting from an au pair? What will you expect from the au pair?
We like an au-pair who is there for the kids at the first place. Who is welcoming and inviting other kids to play in our house. Our door is always open! Furthermore we also expect some help in taking care of the kids (for example helping us with bathing the kids) and preparing the lunch-boxes and mails
What fun things can the au pair do around town, and what can your family offer to the au pairs during the au pair experience?
We live close to the forest and in our neighborhood we have a lot of au-pairs living who are organizing dinners/drinks together. Furthermore we have a train station very close so you can be in Amsterdam within 20 minutes. We lived in Amsterdam for more then 20 years so have lots of recommendations for you.
